JOBE Compound Towable – two towables in one

The JOBE Compound is a towable tube pulled behind a motorboat, available for two, three or four riders. What makes it special is the convertible design: the backrest can be deflated and zipped away, turning the comfortable sofa towable into a flat deck towable. Relaxed riders sit and lean back; thrill-seekers lie on the deck and skim across the water – with one and the same tube.

Design and use

Riders hold on to handles with neoprene knuckle guards that protect the hands from chafing. The one-way Boston valve inflates and deflates quickly without losing air when closing. Drains let scooped water run out fast. A quick connector makes attaching the tow rope simple.

Tips

• Inflate firmly; a soft towable folds in waves and wears at the seams.
• Use a tow rope rated for at least the number of riders and check rope and connector before every session.
• Riders must wear a well-fitting vest; keep a spotter on board.
• Adjust speed to the lightest and least experienced rider and make wide turns.
• Rinse with fresh water after use, dry fully and store out of the sun.
