JOBE Infinity Seascooter Pro Package – electric underwater scooter

The JOBE Infinity Seascooter Pro is an electric underwater scooter that pulls you along under and at the surface of the water. The Pro Package is a complete set for snorkellers and divers: besides the scooter it includes two batteries, a padded carry bag, a leash and a snorkel set. Rated to 30 m depth, it is suitable for diving as well as snorkelling and swimming in the sea or inland waters.

Speed and run time

Three speed settings with a top speed of 8.5 km/h (4.5 knots) and up to 15 kg of thrust. Two lithium-ion batteries (25.2 V / 5 Ah) are supplied, giving a total run time of 2 x 40 minutes: use one while the other charges (approx. 4.5 hours). The batteries are airplane friendly; always pack batteries and scooter separately and check the manual.

Design

The scooter is self-floating: let go and it stays at the surface. A GoPro/action-cam mount on top lets you film underwater. At 3.5 kg and 58 x 24 x 13 cm it is easy to carry in the supplied bag.

Tips

• Rinse scooter and battery with fresh water after every use, especially after salt water.
• Use the leash so the scooter cannot drift away.
• Read the instructions before first use and check that the battery is locked.
• Fully charge the batteries before departure and store everything dry in the bag.
