Majoni classic cylindrical fender in navy with two eyes. The most widely used boat fender, made in the Netherlands. Read more.
The Classic fender in navy (dark blue) is a cylindrical fender by Majoni, also known as a comet or cylinder fender. It protects the hull of sloops, motorboats and sailing yachts against knocks and chafing while mooring and in the berth. Majoni fenders are made in the Netherlands from UV-resistant vinyl and keep their colour after years of outdoor use. Navy is a classic choice that suits dark blue and white hulls.
This fender has an eye at the top and at the bottom, so you can hang it vertically on one fender line or stretch it horizontally between two lines, for example along a low jetty or sheet piling. The fender is supplied deflated; inflate it yourself through the valve to the recommended pressure of 0.2 bar.
Measure the freeboard (waterline to top of the hull) and choose a fender that covers about two thirds of it. Larger, heavier boats need a larger diameter; a diameter of 21-22 cm is common for boats up to about 10 m.
