About Us: Sailing, Rowing and Motor Boating Association De Batavier was formed from the amalgamation of three separate water sports associations: the Batavier, Viking and Vahalis. The association has an association structure with an elected board accountable to the members at the Annual General Meeting. Members contribute by paying membership fees and volunteering one day a year to work on the marina and surrounding grounds.
About The Marina: The marina is located in a beautiful branch of the river Maas, between Ravenstein and Grave, near the village of Niftrik in the municipality of Wijchen. Between the Maas and the marina is a picturesque recreational lake where surfing, sailing and swimming take place amidst a beautiful nature reserve. The marina offers berths for both members and passers-by, and also has some camper spaces.
The jetties have been completely renovated since 2019 and equipped with modern facilities such as shore power and numerous water taps. During the renovation, great attention was paid to safety, sustainability and environmental awareness. From clubhouse De Kink, the association welcomes guests with hospitality. The Kink houses a cosy bar with ample space to enjoy the menu. The spacious terrace offers guests a beautiful view of the harbour and its surroundings.
Sanitary facilities, including showers, toilets and a laundry building with washing machines, are available 24/7 for both members and passers-by.

For Passers-by: The cosy and spacious marina has room for both small and large yachts. The marina was completely renovated in 2019 and meets the latest safety and sustainability requirements. In 2022, the port again received Blue Flag certification. The port offers berths for 308 vessels, all protected by a 241-metre breakwater. In summer, there is plenty of space for passers-by. Mooring fees can be easily paid via AanUit.net, or you can pay by pin at the harbour office.
De Batavier has a cosy eating and drinking facility for both members and passers-by, where you can enjoy a drink or a tasty meal. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the harbour and surrounding area, usually bathed in sunshine. You can also fill up with diesel at the marina and use excellent sanitary facilities, the waste water station and the available washing and drying machines.

For Camper owners: Jachthaven De Batavier has four special camper spaces for passers-by, all with a beautiful view over the harbour - a real A-location. Camper owners can take in clean water, drain grey water and empty chemical toilets here. Of course, the port's sanitary facilities are also available to you, as are connections for electricity.
As there are only a limited number of places available and De Batavier is a popular destination for motorhomes, we recommend that you enquire on the way if there is a place available.
