Jachthaven 'De Oude Werf' in Aalsmeer - Your Watersports Destination
Marina 'De Oude Werf' is located on the shores of the Westeinder Plassen, located southwest of Amsterdam and just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Aalsmeer.
Mooring and storage:
- The marina offers neatly maintained summer moorings (with side jetty) for boats ranging from 4 to 10 metres in length.
- There are options for winter storage, whether in the water, on the shore, or covered.
- For your convenience, toilet and shower facilities are available, and there is ample parking.
- The marina has a crane that can hoist boats up to 5 tonnes, and we have contacts with specialists for any maintenance work.
Recreational parks:
- In addition to berths for boats, the marina also offers several berths for recreational arks.
- These arks are permanently moored and connected to all necessary utilities.
- They have an official mooring licence from the municipality of Aalsmeer.
- Recreation on these arks is possible all year round, both in summer and winter.
Environmental awareness and safety:
- 'De Oude Werf' values safety and the environment. Hazardous materials are separated, wastewater from boat cleaning is collected and cleaned, and operations must comply with applicable safety and environmental standards.
Location:
- The marina is located about 100 metres after the second drawbridge in the Uiterweg, on the left.
- Reach the Uiterweg by taking the exit Aalsmeer-Centrum from the N196.
- For guests from outside the region, follow the Van Cleefkade, drive straight onto the Uiterweg after about 500 metres, and you will find them at number 127a on the Westeinder Plassen.
History:
- For generations, 'De Oude Werf' has been owned by the Harting family. What once began as a place for growing fruit, trees and flowers gradually developed into a marina due to the growing demand for recreation on the water.
- Only the current boat shed still recalls the site's horticultural past.
Westeinder Lakes:
- The Westeinder Plassen, the largest connected inland water in the busy Randstad region, are among the most beautiful and peaceful boating areas in the Netherlands.
- They were created by peat extraction, and even the Harting family contributed to the reclamation of these lakes in the past.
