Jachthaven Katwijk - Enjoy Sailing on the Beach in North and South Holland!
Discover the unique experience of the only beachfront marina in North and South Holland: Jachthaven Katwijk. Here, hospitality, customer-friendliness and sustainable facilities are offered, with overnight accommodation for 130 passers-by and 300 permanent moorings. The marina is located in the estuary of the Oude Rijn river, just 950 metres from the beach. In less than 10 minutes' walk you can reach the bustling centre of Katwijk aan Zee with various shops and catering establishments, while supermarkets are within 500 metres.
Peace, space and beautiful surroundings await you! Cycle through the picturesque hinterland, the Dune and Flowerbulb Region, and easily explore nearby towns such as Noordwijk, Leiden, Wassenaar and The Hague. Walk on beaches, through dunes, or discover historical sights and museums.
For children, Katwijk is a true paradise with the beach as a huge sandpit, Space Expo Noordwijk, amusement park Duinrell with the Tiki Pool, and the new swimming pool Aquamar with a free playground, all a short distance from the marina.
Pets are welcome (leashed) and can enjoy the North beach, where they are allowed to run free all year round. Passers-by are very welcome!
