Passers-by stay in the Port of Rest and Culture
Welcome passers-by! The passers-by jetty (P jetty) in the harbour is always bustling with activity during the high season. Located near beautiful lakes such as the Braassemermeer, the Wijde Aa and the enchanting Kagerplassen, the marina is an ideal stopover for itinerant water sports enthusiasts. Culture enthusiasts will also find their niche here, as you can reach the beautiful city of Leiden within half an hour by boat. For boats up to 145 cm high, it is even possible to moor right in the centre within 30 minutes, and by bike it is only 20 minutes.
For those who desire complete peace and quiet, the marina offers a wonderfully relaxing stay. Shore power, Wifi, a dryer and washing machine, excellent shower facilities, and breathtaking views over the green heart of the area are at your disposal.
Whatever your plans, the harbourmaster, Rien Slingerland, is ready to inform and assist you. You will find him at the front of the marina building, where the marina office and administration can also be found. For questions or to apply for membership, you can make an appointment with him by e-mail. Rien can be reached by phone during office hours.
Major Maintenance and Renewal in the Harbour
To keep the harbour future-proof, regular maintenance is essential. The Technical Advisory Committee and the board have carefully selected the equipment for a major maintenance project. On 1 November, a truck was unloaded with new scaffolding material for replacement. The purchased work pontoon proudly bears the name "Doesbak".
