Stormsure repair kit – multi-purpose glue

The Stormsure repair kit is a flexible polyurethane repair adhesive for fixing small damage in supple, waterproof materials yourself. It is meant for anyone on board or on the road who needs to seal a tear or leak quickly: waders and waterproof clothing, tents and groundsheets, air beds and paddling pools, boots and shoes, horse rugs and car hoods. After curing the glue stays rubbery and elastic, so the repair moves with the material and stays waterproof.

When to choose this glue

Ideal for small repairs on flexible materials. For larger repairs on inflatable boats, such as leaking seams or valves, a dedicated 1- or 2-component PVC or Hypalon adhesive is usually the better choice. For a small hole, a tear in tent fabric or a loose sole, Stormsure is the practical all-in-one solution that needs no other tools.

Tips

• Clean and degrease the surface first; no glue bonds well to a dirty or greasy surface.
• Apply directly to the damage and spread about 5 mm beyond its edge.
• Keep the repair flat while curing; cover with plastic film if needed – it peels off after curing.
• Wait until fully cured before loading or inflating.
• Contains isocyanates: work in a ventilated area, avoid skin contact, keep away from children and close the tube immediately after use.
