The JOBE Tasman is an inflatable two-person kayak supplied as a complete package: kayak, paddles, pump and carry bag in one. At 4.40 m it is a spacious touring kayak for day trips on lakes and calm rivers. Folded into its bag it fits in the car or on board a yacht – ideal if you have no room for a rigid kayak.
The floor is drop-stitch: thousands of threads connect top and bottom, so the floor becomes very rigid under pressure and the kayak behaves much like a hard-shell. The deck has 3 mm EVA foam for comfort, and PVC spray decks front and rear keep water out of the open-top design. The two seats are adjustable and Velcro-fixed, so solo paddling from the centre is also possible. The removable EZ-Lock fin clicks in without tools for tracking stability.

Inflate the floor first, then the side chambers, using the pump gauge. Rinse with fresh water after salt or dirty water and dry completely before folding. Always wear a buoyancy vest and beware of offshore wind: an inflatable kayak catches a lot of wind.
